Wire processing

We offer a wide range of wire processing capabilities that support complex, highly customized component production:

• Fine-wire drawing to ultra-fine dimensions
• Stranding, twisting, and coiling
• Cut-to-length, grinding, and stripping for integration into device assemblies
• Custom capabilities such as sandblasting, plasma welding, and testing

Nitinol processing

With more than 20 years of experience in processing wire-based nitinol, we target both – cost-effective processing and unleashing the unique mechanical properties of nitinol:

• Braiding for adding flexibility, strength with the most complex geometries
• Shape-setting in fast and economic processes, suitable for small batches and large-scale volumes
• Grinding for fine finishing and accurate dimensions
• Joining to provide a mechanical bond between nitinol and other materials
• Assembling of customized projects within our in-house cleanroom facilities

Surface treatments

We offer in-house surface engineering options that enhance mechanical, electrical, and biocompatible performance:

• Electroplating with gold, silver, platinum, nickel, and others
• Polymer coatings including PTFE, polyurethane, polyimide, and custom insulators
• Anodizing for enhanced corrosion resistance and surface finish
• Core extrusion for advanced conductor-insulator combinations

Laser processing

With highly specialized laser systems, we deliver micrometer-level precision for demanding designs:

• Laser welding for secure, low-profile joints
• Laser drilling of micro-features or openings
• Laser cutting of tubing, wire, or complex geometries
• Laser marking for traceability, branding, or measurement indicators
