Protection and performance
Alleima provides advanced anodizing services through a reel-to-reel electrolytic passivation process for aluminum alloys. This process enhances the natural oxidation layer, significantly improving dielectric performance and surface hardness. Whether your wire requires insulation, abrasion resistance, or visual differentiation, our anodizing solutions are designed to meet demanding technical and aesthetic specifications.
Available for both round and ribbon wire, our anodizing services support high-performance medical, industrial, and electronic applications.
Our expertise
Dielectric enhancement and surface hardness
Our anodization process strengthens the natural oxide layer on aluminum wire, improving its insulating properties and resistance to wear. This is ideal for applications where wire components are exposed to friction, mechanical stress, or require dielectric isolation. Typical anodized layer thicknesses range from 0.005 to 0.010 mm (0.0002 to 0.0004 in.).
Reel-to-reel processing for wire formats
Using a reel-to-reel method ensures uniform coating across long continuous lengths of both round and ribbon wire. This approach supports high-volume production with consistent layer thickness, adhesion, and surface finish, while maintaining the flexibility needed for customized runs.
Colored titanium oxide anodizing
In addition to traditional aluminum oxide anodizing, we offer titanium oxide-based color anodization for visual identification or aesthetic applications. With excellent color consistency and repeatability, our process supports approximately 30 standard tones with homogenous surface coverage across the entire wire. This is ideal for device assembly, coding, or branding purposes.
