Meet Alleima at Asia’s largest corrosion conference & exhibition
Organised by AMPP India Chapter, CORCON is taking place from October 29 to 31, 2026. Alleima will be at booth A-7 and A-8, and our focus this year is stainless steel tubing for demanding Heat Exchanger service
What we will be showcasing
- SAF® 3006 is a super duplex stainless steel developed for acid and caustic service. It is aimed at refineries, petrochemical plants, acid production and fertiliser processing.
- SAF® 2707 HD is a hyper-duplex stainless steel with a PREN of 48 or above, suited to heat exchanger tubing where halide contamination is expected, such as in PTA plants.
- Sanicro® 35 is a high-performance alloy combining the best features of a super austenitic stainless steel and a nickel alloy. The grade has excellent corrosion resistance for service in biofuels and other corrosive applications.
Our technical sessions
The team will also be presenting in some technical sessions, join us there for more insights:
October 31, 9am to 11am, Hall B
Advanced Alloy Solutions for Halide-Induced Corrosion Challenges in PTA Production Unit
By Ganesh Prasad, Jyoti Shankar Jha
In purified terephthalic acid plants, acetic acid concentration and temperature do not tell you how long a stainless steel will last. Halide contamination (bromide and chloride) does. This session uses three plant cases to demonstrate this.
October 31, 2pm to 4pm, Hall C
UNS S83071: A Super Duplex Stainless Steel Optimized for Corrosive Acid and Caustic Service
By Ganesh Prasad, Jyoti Shankar Jha
Most duplex and super duplex grades are built to resist chloride-driven pitting and crevice attack. In acid and caustic service, the damage is usually general (uniform) corrosion, which is where those grades struggle. This session presents SAF® 3006, a 30Cr-7Ni-3Mo-N super duplex developed for that gap.
Meet us at booth A-7 and A-8
If you are at CORCON, come and find us at booth A-7 and A-8. Our technical team will be happy to talk through any material challenges you are facing, whether it involves acids, caustics or halide contamination. If you would rather fix a time in advance, you can book one in the form on the left.
